in the GPS Talk section I have placed a useful link showing a tutorial for the use of the BaseCamp software and also have identified some issues which I encountered with my 590 GPS unit.

New Tour of UK has been posted. This 5 day trip takes in the north Yorkshire national park, Snowdonia, Herefordshire and across to Cambridgeshire ending back on Humberside

There seem to be some probems with trying to open the MapSource (gdb) files through the website.
The only way to open files is to right click on the MapSource file, save it to a location on your hard drive and open it using the Garmin MapSource programme. Alternatively once you have saved the file, locate the file on your hard drive, right click and choose the application with which to open the files which will be the MapSourcve programme and then check the box which asks if you want to...Read Full Post »

Added to the 100 - 160 km section of Holland routes. A great tour in the north of Holland crossing the Ijsselmeer from Lelystad to Stede Broec and following the coast of the Ijsselmeer.
