North UK Tour 2013

This spectacular 4 day tour encompasses 4 national parks, a number of great pub B&B's and a brief stint over the border into Scotland. The route starts at the ferry point of the P&O ferry in Hull. It heads north into the North Yorkshire moors. The overnight pub is the Horseshoe Inn in the village of Levisham, a Good Pub Guide recommended pub for accommodation as are all the overnight stays on this trip. Day 2 takes you west through the Yorkshire Dales and on into the Lake District. Overnight is at the Three Shires Inn in the village of Little Langdale.

Day 2 heads north across the border into Scotland enjoying some spectacular scenery of the Scottish Borders before returning to England through the Northumberland National Park. Final overnight is at the Rose and Crown Inn in Romaldkirk before the final leg back to the ferry at Hull. Not a cheap option for those arriving from Holland but a real gem of a tour in the spectacular north of England.
